Between Rudy and Sarah, we were pretty fired up in our house last night! I said to Nin that we could be seeing the first female President standing there. What a moment! I'm in my forties, Nin is in her thirties, and neither of us have children, but both of us can relate to Sarah Palin. She's a genuine, what you see is what you get, real woman. I came out of last night with a feeling of hope and possibility. And guess what? Her mom, like my mum was right -- an American woman can walk through any door and be anything she wants to be.
Just stop for a moment and realize how blessed we are to be American women. How blessed we are to be Americans. It's a good morning.
Later: and since I'm lazy, two of my Cotillion 'Palinesque' blog sisters have roundup posts.Posted by Ith at September 4, 2008 8:34 AM | PROCURE FINE OLD WORLD ABSINTHE
