List five character deaths that affected you.

~ Helen Burns, Jane Eyre's best friend. At age seven, that had a fairly profound influence on me.

~ Boromir in Lord of the Rings.

~ Lucy Muir in The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

~ Aragorn, and then Arwen in the appendices of LotR

~ Beth in Little Women
