Absinthe & Cookies (a bit bitter, a bit sweet)

Hey, Western Canadians

My uncle just got married, and my mum wants to give him and his wife a gift certificate from a store local to them. Is there a Canadian equivalent of Bed, Bath and Beyond (those may even be in Canada for all I know)? Someplace that sells housewares and linens. They're going to be building a house in Vernon, and currently live in Terrace. Our default is a gift certificate from the Bay.
