I'm tinkering with the comments settings. I think I have it set to only the comments of trusted commenters will go straight through. Everything else will be in queue till I approve it.
So if I know you, sign in with typekey, and leave a comment here, I'll add you to the trusted list. Well, I will if I figure out how to do it [g] So you can help me experiment!
[tells Russ to breathe] promise I'll try not and blow up the blog!
A bit later: because things are still a bit wonky template wise, you may have to sign in to typekey and then come back to the blog's main page, then click on the comment link. That's what I had to do to be able to comment. Otherwise you get trapped in a never ending circle [g]

Oh, thank heaven you're back. Now the proper balance of the universe is restored. Hallelujah, and pass the latte!

One itty bitty glitch... when I first clicked on the link in the post wanting to comment, the screen told me I was signed in but failed to mention my name. I attempted to make a comment, and the comment was deep-sixed because I wasn't signed in. I clicked the link to sign in, asked to stay signed in for 2 weeks, and then it took me right back to the place where I wanted to make a comment. Which I promptly made, and as you can see above, it promptly was posted.

I've been using LJ for so long, I keep trying to reply to individual comments! Can't do that in MT.
So it accepted your comment. Wonder why? Somethng esle to figure out. I have it set to only publish the comments of trusted commenters right away, so it should have held your comment. But when I looked, it had you listed as a trusted commenter, even though I didn't tell it you were.
Hmmmm.....

When signing into Typekey, it helps if you select the "keep me signed in for two weeks" option.
At least, that's the rumor.
