Absinthe & Cookies (a bit bitter, a bit sweet)

I had someone come in to my blog on the words, "white trash boys do their sisters". This is not surprising as I turn up on any search using the words "white trash". What made this special was that the person doing the search was logged in from the Washington DC headquarters of a government agency. Not long after that I heard of some high level government exec in DC getting canned for downloading porn onto the agency server.

Which makes me think of more wordplay on the "aw shucks" AI contestant Simon called a "minx," then had to tell her what he meant, and then later she referred to herself as a "mink" and they were like "no, a minx."

Does a minx from Minsk wear mink? Or is the Minskminx merely mink-like?

You should tell that person, whoever he is, to look into 'real estate'. That's the slang term for it in the Ukraine, at least.

Some friends of mine were looking to move to the Ukraine, and the husband went over there a couple of weeks in advance to find an appartment while the wife was packing up the old house. She did a search online and found a 'real estate' website, and told him to drop by to see what they had to offer. He called her back a couple of hours later and asked, "Are you trying to get rid of me?!" :P
