To Go, Or To Hunker Down

One of my favourite groups, Tempest, is playing in town on Saturday night. Which is kewl, since I've gone from seeing them several times a year in the past, to having not seen them even once now in quite a few years. But there's a problem. This weekend is also AT&T week, and I make it a policy to not venture from my home over the tournament because the entire Peninsula becomes a freakin' zoo! And downtown will be the zoo and a circus combined. So, is the lure of Tempest enough to draw me from my lair and brave the crowds of manic golf fans/celeb seekers? Not sure if it is.

Go.

Go, because afterwards the hassles of traffic, crowds and whatnot will fade from your memory, but the fun parts of the night will stay fresh.

At least, that's how it always works for me.

Go. You never know what you might see in that kind of freak show.

Which town are you in? I used to see Tempest fairly often when i was in college in N. Calif. Awesome live band! If you go, let us know how it was.

Well, that was easy. We aren't going. No room in this month's budget.
