They Are Out There!
So this time, for Shattered, I've been getting feedback from the lists I've posted it too! After the near silence when I posted Fathers Christmas, I was beginning to think Forever Knight and Highlander fanfic fandom was dead. Granted, I write xovers, and not featuring the 'stars' Nick Knight, and Duncan MacLeod, but LaCroix and Methos instead, (though Nick actually was pivotal in this last fic, which is quite unusual for me) so that narrows my potential audience even more. I just can't seem to get into wrting fic in 'live' fandoms. Imagine if I wrote Harry Potter fic or Lost. If I were to do anything 'live' it would probably be House, but what I know about wrting a medical based story is zilch, so probably not going to happen. I have thought of posting the future stories with Picard on a Star Trek fic list, but haven't so far.
Anywho, It's just nice to know that there really are people reading -- certainly helps with the motivation to finish the stories I have in progress. Now if I could just finish "Now We Are Met Again". It's the third part of the trilogy I started several years ago, and I have about seven pages so far. Jack Sparrow walked into it, but I keep mentally revising the 'adventure'. I just need to pick something and stick to it!
