Random 'Lost' Thoughts

A few weeks back, when the Others had the standoff with our heros, I thought of how much the head bad guy reminded me of Sawyer. Then there's the modern washer and dryer in the hatch, and last night, a radio station playing Glenn Miller. What if the some of the Others are some of the survivors of our group? What if the survivors from the Black Rock slave ship have only been on the island for a dozen years instead of their possible descendants being there for centuries?

Time travel? A tear in the space time continuum?

My theory since the second episode has been that everyone is dead and they are all in purgatory.

But I like the time travel theory as well. Where that wouldn't work is that you'd think that the "older" survivors would recognize their younger selves, right?

Oh yeah, the do recognize them and know who they are. That's part of my theory :)
