If one person asks me what my plans are for the Superbowl, I shall most certainly scream. Plans? Like it's Christmas, or my birthday! It's not, it's a football game! Why would you think I have 'plans'? Geez! Not only do I not have 'plans', I'm not even watching it. [stomps off]
Now I've got that out of my system!

Not watching it either - going to watch the Puppy Bowl 2 on Animal Planet - this year they've added a Kitten Half-Time show!
Posted by: eviltammy at February 3, 2006 9:58 AMSince you two aren't watching, mind coming over to my house to make/serve snacks and tend bar?? *ducks and runs away*
Posted by: MCPO Airdale at February 3, 2006 10:02 AMHey, I'm a damn fine bartender! [she says modestly]
Posted by: Ith at February 3, 2006 10:13 AMWeel, you do work with guys, and this is like Christmas part II for a lot of guys....
Posted by: caltechgirl at February 3, 2006 10:27 AMOddly enough, I haven't really heard any talk about it at work. We're too busy prepping for AT&T Pebble Beach golf tournament. This has been from bank tellers and shop clerks.
Posted by: Ith at February 3, 2006 10:39 AMMmmmm, big screen HDTV, football, fattening snacks and drinks served by the lovely Ith!
"Heaven, I'm in heaven. . ."
Posted by: MCPO Airdale at February 3, 2006 12:04 PMAs long as the bartender has tequila provided for her consumption, we're good.
Posted by: Ith at February 3, 2006 12:28 PMMCPO Airdale - if you're quoting the song I THINK you are, then that is really funny!! :-) The teams COULD be dancing cheek-to-cheek... ;-)
EvilTammy - There's a Kitten Half-time show for the Puppy Bowl, this year?! Aw...so cute.
Ith - it's okay. I'm watching the game, but I'll still like you. ;-) You know, people asked me what time the game started, and I didn't even know! I just assumed that my fiance's TV would be on all day, and the game would be on, sometime. Hee.
Posted by: Princess Jami at February 3, 2006 1:25 PMI'm with you -- no football for me. The entire hoopla surrounding the "super bowl" continues to baffle and anger me.
Posted by: david at February 3, 2006 6:29 PMYou got it Princess Jami - Ith, the tequila will be ready!
Posted by: MCPO Airdale at February 3, 2006 6:47 PMYou are kidding me, right? Do people still watch the Super Bowl even though it's now eXtra Large?
I only watch sports that I am present at or participating in (and there is precious little snow this winter for skiing). I really doubt that I will be in "Detroit" this Sunday, so I doubt that I will see Super Bowl XL.
Did anyone else note John F*en Kerry trying to chat up Justices Alito and the Dread Pirate Roberts before the SOTU address? It's like he can't buy a friend.

You're...not watching it?
YOU'RE NOT WATCHING IT??
Please, dear, keep this just between us. In fact, you should delete this blog post right away. No, that's not good enough: change your name, get radical plastic surgery, move out of the country, and leave no forwarding address.
I can't guarantee your safety otherwise.
