No Way!
First off, I had no idea Patrick Stewart was 65. He certainly doesn't look it. Second, I see no reason why his age should keep him from playing Picard. Heck, Sean Connery is still doing action films!

If Shatner can still play kirk, Stewart can still do Picard.

Even though I prefer Kirk over Picard, I think that is jacked up saying he is too old to play the part. Hollywood does this to the women at much earlier ages.
