The last two eps of Battlestar Galactica were excellent! It never fails to leave me with all mixed up feelings. Not something that happens to often in TV.

I agree Admiral Cain had to die, but also glad Adamo and Starbuck didnt have to be responsible for it. The growing relationship between Adama and Laura is nice. This is the smartest, most complex show on tv today.
Posted by: Debbie at January 14, 2006 5:49 PMDaniel, no idea, to tell the truth. I'm much less familair with the creative makeup of BSG than I am of other shows.
Debbie, I dunno, I would have liked them to take that leap and have a major charcacter kill her. But that's just me :) But I will miss Michelle Forbes. She's such an amazing actress.
Posted by: Ith at January 15, 2006 11:21 AMYeah, there's something a little TOO convenient about Adama and Cain BOTH having parallel assasination plots and then BOTH calling them off. I think Starbuck would've gone through it, in part because Cain's "don't flinch" speech unwittingly convinced her it had to be done. I'm not as sure about Col. Fisk: from both his scenes with Tigh and what he did in the Pegasus brig, it seems to me like he was seriously starting to question how far out of control things had gone.
Posted by: Dave J at January 15, 2006 3:33 PMDave, that pretty much mirrors the conversation Nin and I had during the episode. GMTA :)
Posted by: Ith at January 15, 2006 3:53 PMAn interesting thing. In a comment about the last episode the actress who plays Number 6/Gina said "I get to kill a Cylon".
Posted by: Daniel Upton at January 15, 2006 10:25 PMDaniel - oooo so theres a possibility that Cain was a Cylon???
Dang - that show gets better and better!!
Love Battlestar Galactica.
Posted by: Sharon Ferguson at January 16, 2006 7:18 AMI have to admit, I was holding out hope that Kane/Cain? was a Cylon just to get Michelle Forbes back!
Posted by: Ith at January 16, 2006 11:20 AMI really REALLY don't want Cain to be/have been a Cylon. That would feel like a huge cop-out. It would diminish what she's done and what that says about humanity in general for her not to be human after all.

What effect do you think Ron Moore being forced out as showrunner will have?
