Stinky!

I always, always, wash new clothes before I wear them. Hey, you don't know where they've been! And yes, I get teased about it too. I got a new pair of jeans in the mail last night, and decided to wear them today, forgoing my usual wash first rule. Mistake!! They smell funny [pout] Don't laugh! It's very vexing to me [even more of a pout]

Heh. My DH is allergic to the sizing in most unwashed fabric, so I have to wash it or he itches all day....

It's like that "new car smell." Distinctive, artificial, and (to me) somewhat nauseating.

I find that new clothes feel funny until they are washed. I don't know what it is, but they just feel funny and are uncomfortable until going through the washer and dryer just once.

New jeans are just kind of stiff, or something. And who knows who tried them on before I bought them?!
