The Libertine

I'd despaired of this movie ever being released here, and figured I'd have to look for it in the Foreign Movie DVD bin at some future date. But, yay! It opens Dec. 25!

A Little Later: here's a website for the movie I found a few years back. Quite a few set photos. And I found a TRAILER!

Is it incredibly shallow of me to say, "OHMIGOD, HOW YUMMY?"

If so, let's just chalk it up to hormones. Good googly moogly.

Hey, it's nice and warm here at the shallow end! I may just have to buy that poster. YUMMY! indeed!

Why must he always be so freakin' HOT?

And it's such a bonus that in addition to being so hot, the man can actually act. I love his work. I never would have thought back in the days of 21 Jumpstreet that he'd turn out to have all this talent.

Disgusting, isn't it? Heh. You know, I've never actually seen 21 Jump Street. But I've seen pretty much everything else at this point. Even Dean Man. Now that is a seriously bizarre movie. Oh, and The Man Who Cried is odd, but pretty. Now I have the urge to run home and watch Don Juan Demarco!

You found a trailer! OMG, this is even better than an ALL ABBA TUNES TUESDAY!

I just watched the trailer. Woo mama! I'm seeing an NC 17 rating in its future. Yeah, maybe it is better than All ABBA Tuesday -- but not by much!

Feh, the Weinstein's list nation wide opening as Jan 13th (as does IMDb).

When I first saw the poster I thought it was Stuart Townsend, not our Johnny. The trailer is certainly Johnny, but I didn't see anything worse there than what was shown this evening on Masterpiece Theater with Elizabeth, The Virgin Queen.

We shall see.
