Experiment

Since I'm alone for the duration once more, I decided to try making my own refried beans. Right now, I'm at the 'pot bean' portion of the process. When those are done, I take a portion and with some lard, garlic, and maybe a bit of onion, I will make refried beans.

What are borracho beans? I'm going to make ranchero beans for company next week to go with bbq hamburgers.

I always use my leftover ham-n-beans to make refried beans. If we don't feel like having burritos right then, I just throw them in the freezer.

borracho beans are basically a bean soup - "beer-soaked" beans...not sure of the recipe...we almost made some this weekend, but opted for white chili instead.

Ill see if I can find a recipe and post it.
