But if anyone wants an actual recommendation, well, you can't go far wrong in renting Master & Commander.

Im not going to be doing any posting this weekend. One reason is that I am going to go see the LOTR exhibit here in Houston, plus I have some sewing and other writing to do.
Ive been on a Crowe kick recently, but I dont know how you feel about him as an actor, so all I can really recommend is M&C or Gladiator or The Quick and The Dead. The last one isnt real noteworthy other than solid performances by Crowe and Hackman. I have ordered For The Moment which I hope will arrive today or tomorrow.
If Crowe turns you off, I highly recommend The Thirteenth Warrior.
