Eagle & Child
My boss flew to London yesterday and will be working in Oxford all this week. His first morning out, he sent me a piccie!

This is the Eagle & Child pub, where Tolkien, Lewis, and gang, hung out. My boss has instructions to take pics of anything Tolkien related, but I wasn't expecting a photo so soon!

Ah, The Bird and the Baby - or Fowl and the Fetus as it was known to us undergrads when I was up in Oxford. My first year I lived opposite it. The Pub has just been bought by St John's College; they also own and run The Lamb and Flag the other side of the street. The profits go to provide scholorships to students (a clever recycling of money!).
