When I took Peter's test last week, I came out heavily Methodist. A new test, (via the Llamas) has me 100% in my own actual church this time. Interestingly, I scored second, and at a fairly high percentage, in Eastern Orthodox. That's interesting to me because I've been interested in that faith the last few years.
Rank Item Percent
1: Anglican/Episcopal/Church of England (100%)
2: Eastern Orthodox (97%)
3: Lutheran (79%)
4: Methodist/Wesleyan/Nazarene (68%)
5: Roman Catholic (68%)
6: Presbyterian/Reformed (65%)
7: Congregational/United Church of Christ (61%)
8: Church of Christ/Campbellite (56%)
9: Baptist (Reformed/Particular/Calvinistic) (52%)
10: Pentecostal/Charismatic/Assemblies of God (50%)
11: Baptist (non-Calvinistic)/Plymouth Brethren/Fundamentalist (40%)
12: Anabaptist (Mennonite/Quaker etc.) (25%)
13: Seventh-Day Adventist (25%)
What a relief. ;-)
Posted by: Peter Sean Bradley at June 22, 2005 6:28 PMBy the way, I scored second place as an Episcopalian, which makes sense.
But how could you score so high as a Pisky and so low as a Papist?
Posted by: Peter Sean Bradley at June 22, 2005 6:35 PMSo, my good Anglican, will we be seeing you at St John's this weekend?
Posted by: Eclectra at June 22, 2005 7:08 PMPeter, I'm not sure. I can never figure out these tests.
E, I dunno. They kinda weirded me out at Christmas Eve :) People that scold you in the line for communion tends to turn me off the parish.

Whoa. I was surprised by the Eastern Orthodox aspect.
Posted by: Princess Jami at June 23, 2005 10:32 AMWhat were you scolded in line at communion for?!
Only time I have been 'scolded' per communion is when our priest wanted to know why I didnt come to communion.
Posted by: sharon ferguson at June 23, 2005 11:21 AMShe warn't really scolded... It was old Minot, he's a quite nice old man, just trying to regulate the communion traffic as I recall. Ith, you must come to church to let him know all is forgiven.
In future I shall hurl my body between you and so much as a cocked eyebrow, I promise ;-)
Posted by: Eclectra at June 23, 2005 3:51 PMSharon, in any Episcopal/Anglican church I've ever been in, you fill the rail from left to right and a new person takes the just emptied space. So I'm standing there, in the state of mind of getting ready for communion, and as I step forward, this guy sitting in the aisle sticks his hand out and says, "No!". Not only did it scare the crud out of me, but it totally threw me out of my state of contemplation. So once the entire rail had cleared, then he told me I was allowed to go forward, with attitude, I might add. It was very upsetting and didn't do a lot to make me want to go back.
Posted by: Ith at June 23, 2005 4:22 PMJami, what's your rating for the church you're actually in?
Posted by: Ith at June 23, 2005 4:23 PME, we'll see.
Posted by: Ith at June 23, 2005 4:28 PMUm, I'm not sure about the "rating" of which you speak, but I go here.
Posted by: Princess Jami at June 24, 2005 6:55 AMIt's not really Catholic in any form. Little 'c' catholic, but not Orthodox or Roman or Anglican. Or Lutheran. ;)
Posted by: Princess Jami at June 24, 2005 6:57 AMHmmm...
I was 100% Eastern Orthodox, and VERY heavily Anglican and Roman Catholic. Surprisingly, I was only 71% Lutheran, which maybe means I need to study my Catechism a bit harder!

Not "Reformed"? Well, I guess we can't all be perfect.
