Five Things You Probably Didn't Know About Me

* My favourite piece of music is "Moonlight Serenade" by Glenn Miller

* I adore fresh raspberries right off the cane

* I have a fear of driving

* The first time I entered the doors of York Minster, I started to cry.

* I watched Bicentennial fireworks from the Berkeley Marina with a station wagon load of Japanese businessmen.

Raspberries: don't you wash them first?

Not if I'm picking them out of my grandmother's garden like I used to do. And even if we were picking wild blackberries, we usually ate more than ever made it home.

1) Good choice.
2) Oh, ya. Used to get 'em that way at my grandparents' farm. Washing? Feh!
3) I never used to, but for the past couple of years, ya. The whole "dying in a crash" thing....
4) Never been there, but I bet it's impressive. Either that, or you were an infant being brought in by your parents.
5) East Beach, Santa Barbara, CA.

That you cried on entering York Minster tells me you are highly susceptible to aesthetic experience.
