I'm curious . . . when you don't post for a few days, do you notice a sudden drop in traffic, or does it sort of tail off for a while before picking up again? I've noticed if I don't post for a day or two (which has been rare this year), about a third to half of my traffic drops off for up to a week before recovering. Odd, and kinda distressing, if you're an attention junkie! ;-)

Yes, my traffic does drop, but it goes right back up again after I resume posting. I've always assumed that a lot of traffic comes from people seeing the "updated" or "new" tags on their blogrolling blogrolls.
