TV Tonight

So I have to do without House till August now. I'm not sure I like Stacy. I think it was incredibly selfish of her to confess to him that he's the love of her life -- even though she has no intention of being with him. Hasn't she done enough damage? Next season should be quite interesting!

American Idol. I'm torn. I've been a big fan of Carrie's from the beginning, and it would be nice to see a country singer win. Though, she doesn't have Martina McBride's voice and I think she should avoid singing her songs. But I wouldn't be unhappy if Bo wins. Either way, both of them are coming out of this with recording contracts.

Now we're watching the last hour of "Amber and Rob Get Married". No, I don't know why! :)

I can't stand Stacy. Very self-centered, very arrogant. Your basic twitch with an alternate spelling. IMHO, of course.

CTG: yeah, that's about the size of it.

Deb, I'm getting pretty close to feeling that way myself. But I'm hoping next season we get more of her and House's backstory.

I watched a few minutes of Rob and Amber, whose names I only recognized from being unable to avoid seeing them mentioned in all the bloggy "TAR" updates.

He struck me as a jerk.

Which is probably only the impression of a few minutes and means absolutely nothing.

I know I don't like Stacy. It will make it interesting, adding her to the cast, but I kind of hope she too goes away after five episodes. I liked Vogler much better, and could almost have seen keeping him with a storyline where accomodations were made rather than him being immovable.

I think Carrie is absolutely adorable but not a performer. She has a fine voice of limited range. Bo is just... amazing. As Dean put it a few weeks ago, Bo is already a star. I hope he wins.

I wonder how many people didn't "get" that Simon was "faint praising" her in the end, just to make her feel better about herself and her chances.

Jay, I couldn't stand Rob on either Survivor he did, but when he was on Amazing Race, I developed a soft spot for him due to the way he treats Amber. He got big points for that in my book :)

Yeah, Boston Rawb was never my favorite, either, but he does treat her well, and clearly they care about each other. I wish them well in their PRIVATE lives :)
