What Part Of "Square" Didn't You Understand?

I've been repeating the same thing for nearly 14 years, and no matter how I word it....

Typical phone call:

"Do you rent screens?"

Me: yes, we do.

"What size are they?"

Me: we have 5, 6, 7, or 8 foot square tripod screens.

"So how long/tall/wide would that be?"

Me: [bangs head against desk]

Variation:

[blah blah blah]

"I need something bigger!"

Me: we also have ten or twelve foot pole and saddle screen.

"Yeah, that's more like it! Give me a ten foot!"

Days pass... customer comes in to get screen.

"It's TEN FEET LONG!!! I can't get that in my car!"

[bangs head against desk]

This is my life.
