Alias & Lost

Both were great last night! Though Lost always leaves me gnashing my teeth in frustration -- in a good way. They never went back to what Walk About Guy and Lazy gal's Brother Guy (I never remember character names, so bear with me) were doing with the axe in the jungle. What were they doing anyway? And a plastic plane in a safe deposit box?? All that for a toy? What else is going on?

And Alias was more like its old self. Though I can see no way that Dixon would ever work for Sloane again. For Pete's sake, the man murdered Dixon's wife!! I also hope that Vaughn's buddy from the CIA gets let in on the secret. I like him a lot and would like to see more of him. And I must mention how much I enjoy the relationship between Sloane and Jack -- for both of them, the other is the only one who can possibly understand the things they've done.

You know, that's a great point about the relationship between Sloane and Jack. And they've both done some terrible things, often in the name of love. Although Sloane is more evil, of course.

Locke and Boone? I really wanted to find out what they found and evidently what they are hiding. And we kinda lost the kidnapping storyline in this episode.

I think I remember reading that Vaughn's buddy wasn't going to be on much this season. I think... :( I like him too.

I was so glad to see they kept Marshall (isnt' that his name, the nerdy tech guy?)! I love him, he's so nerdly cute. I missed the entire last season, so never saw how the Vaughn-V's wife-Sydney triangle resolved. Plus missed the whole mommy assasination. But it wasn't too hard to pick it all back up again. I agree, this is much more like the first season minus Rembaldi. Anyway, does anyone know of a website (less snarky than TWOP) that has good recaps of last season?

Yes! Locke and Boone!

And I love Marshall as well, though my friend Jen can't stand him. I was sure I could hear her screech of anguish all the way from Fremont.

Well I like Marshall too, though I'm not sure I like the way they brought him into APO.

I watched and liked the third season and they didn't show the assassination. I think the first they mentioned of it was in the season premiere episode.

It was rather silly, but it was funny. I don't remember the assasination either, so I was thinking I missed something. But I guess I didn't.

Christopher -

Isn't that almost identical to the way they got him out of SD-6 and into the real CIA? I seem to remember a kidnapping or arrest or something like that. It cracked me up that he was still just as befuddled this time.

Jema, yes, I think that's right. It certainly strikes a memory in my old brain :)
