Where am I? I'm at work, that's where! And since misery loves company, I want a shout out from any of you who are chained to their desks today. I have no idea why we're open the day after Thanksgiving -- it's always so quiet we can hear our hair grow. But sit here we will hoping the hope that they'll let us leave early.
Now, what would I be doing if I wasn't working? For one thing, I'd still be asleep! But you can bet I wouldn't be anywhere near a store today. No way, Jose! There is nothing on god's green earth that could compel me to enter a retail establishment the day after "T" day. But back to my fantasy day off.... I'd be sleeping in, then sticking in a DVD, grabbing a book and reading and watching (or watching and reading). And since it's actually a very nice day, maybe I'd go for a walk. I would just enjoy having a day to myself.
Later: no rest for the wicked -- the Pirate is workin' too.

I am sitting here at my desk. All alone! It is after 3 pm and everyone else who worked got to leave at 3pm because the NYSE closed early.
However, since I am the only one in my department and two groups - who may have questions - have to stay to 5 pm - I will be sitting here with them.
Trying to use the time to good measure and catch up on emails and such.

I'd definitely be awake by now.
I probably would have fixed turkey omelets for breakfast, with a little cheesecake on the side.
For lunch, I would have sliced up some more cheesecake to go with my toasted TLT sandwich.
For this afternoon, my sweetie and I would be watching episodes of CSI I taped a while back.
This evening, however, I promised him salmon.
