I was talking about just this at our Townhall Meetup last night on why I'm afraid Kerry could win:
.... And he may be hitting on something that will resonate with the not-very-engaged voter. In short, his message is, “Go away, world.” The Iraq war is costly and casualties are unpleasant to hear about. Americans don’t want to say, “cut and run,” but they want the Iraq war, the war on terror, the ugly images of the Beslan school massacre — all of it to go away.

Will John Kerry make these damn hurricanes go away? That might make me consider him. ;-)
