Yes, definitely a winner! I'm going to watch this new series with interest.
Nin and I had a running guess conversation about what the "creature" is. It could be a dinosaur, but that's kinda cliche. It seems to only like the dark/overcast, so maybe something nocturnal? My guess: a giant mutant opossum!!
Later: My friend, Jen, says that they're airing part one and two of the pilot on Sat, Oct. 2 from 8pm-10pm if you missed it yesterday.
Someone on an email list said they'd heard that the critter is "Death". ('possum! really!) (uh huh)

I think it's gonna be Rupert in his tie died undershirt...
Still don't think it could be a 'possum but it might be a 'ramadillo...

Posted by: marybeth at September 23, 2004 9:09 PMI think someone is spending just a little too much time at the old D&D table...
Posted by: TxRascal at September 24, 2004 5:36 AMTold my wife after the first growl: "If it turns out to be a dinosaur I'm gonna be so ticked..." I'm thinking Mysterious Island remake, and already, Verne did it better.

Uhmmm Ms. Ith?...
I have it on the best authority that the working title for this series was originally "Jurassic Park IV"...
