A few years ago, my mom instituted a farewell/"I care about you" tradition for me or my brothers when we left my parents' house after a visit. After the usual hugging and kissing of niceness, she'd pat us on the head with some encouraging word. Gradually, I took it up with my friends. So, here's to you keeping it together for the next few hours, and the hours after that, and so on, 'til they add up into weeks that are (mercifully!) over. :)
