Most Annoying Song

My current winner in the "most annoying and overplayed song on radio" contest is "Save a Horse, Ride a A Cowboy" by Big & Rich. It's like a country song that wants to be a rap song when it grows up. Any song that uses "bling blinging" is enough to make me want to toss the radio. I went from finding it annoying to actively disliking it after I saw the video -- tawdry and trashy through and through.

So I want to know what song(s) you can't stand! Share the misery.

That Ketchup song... And Avril's music. It's whiny and "I am so totally punk, I don't know what you're talking about."

Oh, my goodness. I didn't realize how relieved I was NOT to have to hear the clunky cheekiness of "Hey Ya!", until I heard it on the radio just last week. Isn't that one worn out, already? I don't want to shake anything like a Polaroid pictcha. Seriously.

Also, you are right on with your critique of "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy." Ugh. It's offensive on many levels. Blech.

I have been known to fly into fits of epithets upon the airing of "We Built This City" by Starship.

I was soooo happy to see it made VH1's "Most Awsomely Bad Song Ever" or some such. I felt vindicated.

That annoying song by Brad Paisley! He's singing about how cute and adorable his little girl is when she uses dirty language. How cute! He'll love those "little moments" when she's about 14 too!

I know, I know, it's just a song.

Cooper, not his little girl, his wife. She backs his truck into something and uses a bad word, something she usually never does. Actually, the whole song is about his wife.

Okay I feel dumb now! I never really listened any further than the very first of the song! I knew it was totally out of character, I like Brad Paisley usually. Ugh!

Thanks for enlightening me Ith!
