Waaaaa! They Hate Us So

This has to be one of the stupidest things I've read in a while (and that's saying something.)

Discussing how much America is hated, Senator Graham had this nugget of wisdom to share:

Senator Graham said re-electing Mr Bush would be viewed by people abroad as a majority of Americans approving of Mr Bush's policies.

DUUUUUUH! Isn't that sort of the point of an election?

Will they be singing "We are the World" to close the DNC? Why should we give over our sovereignty to people who envy and despise us? Because we're successful, productive, and free? Well, that makes sense. I can't wait for Kofi Asinine to be giving President Kerry instructions on what America should do.

This confirms (as if confirmation were necessary) that Bob Graham has finally lost the last of his marbles. He still has something of an aura of reverent nostalgia surrounding him, at least among those Floridians who were actually here at the time and remember his governorhsip, but if Kerry had picked him as his running mate (never a realistic prospect in the minds of anyone but Bob Graham), I suspect whatever votes he might have gained in Florida would've been more than matched by votes he lost everywhere as people questioned his judgment for picking a nutjob VP.
