Back With The Bad Guys
Several detainees released by the U.S. military from the detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have rejoined their former comrades-in-arms and taken part in fresh attacks on American troops, according to Defense Department officials and a senior Republican lawmaker.

I would submit that there will be fewer prisoners and somewhat higher US and coalition casualties unless our guys can turn POWs over to an ally that our courts have no jurisdiction over.
Much like in my first tour in the Southeast Asian War Games we'd try to put the bad guys into a situation where they had to surrender. After a couple of Marines got blown away by allegedly surrendering VC, we quit bothering with flanking them until we could flush them out and just went into the assault or call on the fast movers to drop napalm cannisters.
