There's a "diplomat" on FNC right now saying that hatred of us in Europe is our fault, that we need to change our policies to make them happy. This is one of those times I'd like to post in all CAPS! Damn it! I'm sick and tired of this crap. Why should we change? Why don't they start appeasing us, asking themselves why we don't like them, and what policies of theirs they should change to make us happier?? I'm really beginning to understand why the U.S. was isolationist prior to WWII. Europe is so not worth it, and I'm past fed up with their whinging and complaining. They'd all be speaking German now if not for us.

They can take their unhappiness and stuff it for all I care. We've done our bit for Europe -- more than once -- and I say leave them to stew in their own juices.
