Prigs

More from local news. This time, the snobby prigs of the CAB. Local church wants a statue in its garden for their 100th aniv. -- seems simple, right? Not in the same village that banned ice cream cones once upon a time. You see, the statue has to be approved by the CAB, and said CAB denied permission unanimously:

“I don’t think it furthers what the church is about — it’s just a decorative little piece,” said Eleen Auvil.

I am so glad I live outside the village limits!

I notice there's no separation of church and state when the statists want to infringe on the free exercise of religion.

This can be the most infuriating palce to live. They actually cited somone for a hit and run agasint a TREE!

Well, then the tree was obviously asking for it. I mean, to quote Sonny Bono (your former Congressman?), "guns don't kill people, trees kill people."

OK, I know that's in bad taste, but come on, it's STILL funny.

No Sonny Bono was from down south. My congressman [gag] is Sam Farr.
