Man... If only...

I figured out who I'm supporting for President:

He stands for freedom.

In the last war, against overwhelming odds, he stood firm in his beliefs and led his men to victory.

He stands for progress.

Anythings better than the last regime!

He stands for what is good in the world.

He defeated one of the greatest evils to ever walk the lands.

Vote Aragorn in 2004!

(I'm very tempted to make this a website... Or, at least a button! I'll have to work on that when I get home.)

Update: I did it!

If you want it, grab it. Just link it to here. (My personal blog needs more traffic :-) ) and, I'll put a link to the 'official' Aragorn for president page if I ever make it there... (Oh, I am tempted!)

As long as it's Aragorn and not Viggo. [shudder]

No... definitely the Gondorian dude...

Viggo... no... no... no...

Yeah... sorry... can't get past the Viggo part. I'd vote to have Gimli as the next British Prime Minister though.

Hell, I can't get past either one's obnoxious voice! No way on this chick's part!

Kel, not an Aragorn or VM fan

Can't get past that obnoxious voice! *shudders and looks for ear plugs*

Duh--I apologize for the double post. *grovels*

Kel, learning quickly not to post on only one cup of coffee

Aragorn, not Viggo. Aragorn existed before Viggo was even born.

As for his voice, I'm fond of Aragorn's voice, but Viggo's real voice is just normal.

Aragorn would make a great President, with Gandalf as his National Security Advisor. Wow.

Okay, even still, not VM but Aragorn. VM is the 'voice' of Aragorn to me because of the movies. To me, it sounds like he's trying to do a really bad Peter Lorre impersonation. Heh.

*shutting up now and going back to writing*

I was simply saying that to me, the sound of Aragorn's voice is different from Viggo's actual voice. Just like Nigel Bennett and LaCroix sound different. Everyone has their own taste. Take me, for example. I don't think Alan Rickman's voice is all that, but it makes you swoon (at least, that's what I've gathered from some of your email posts about him)

Meant to add: when I "hear" Aragorn in my head, it's not the movie voice. It's the voice I've heard in my head since I was 16 when I read the books for the first time.

Good idea. No doubt I'd vote Aragorn. (
