I'm watching FNC, and there's the Dems, campaigning in churches again! What the heck is with that? A church seems -- to me -- to be a very inappropriate place to be making campaign speeches. I wouldn't want that sort of this to happen in my church, and I admit I find the acceptance of the practice to be very odd. Not to mention disrespectful.
Is this just me?

Posted by: Ith at October 26, 2003 12:53 PMNope, it's not just you. And, considering the Dems are the biggest loudmouths about the separation of church and state, it's also appallingly hypocritical. If you're hoping to *represent* the state, then get your ass outta the church while you're talking about trying to get votes. Or, just stop yapping when someone has a nativity display at a public school/post office/whatever. Pick one, and stick with it, eh?

Nope, it's not just you. Yet another reason why they leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
