Buy your own Barrow! You too could have the ultimate Hobbit Party with your very own barrow!

" The barrow was built some 4-5000 years ago, at about the same time as the first pyramids in Egypt. Roughly circular in shape, it consists of a “double ring” of stones enclosing an elevated area about 1 metre above ground level. Some of the larger stones are up to 2 metres (6ft) wide and 1.22 meters (4ft) high, with a further ˝ metre underground. Over the millennia some of these stones have fallen or are missing but many remain in situ clearly showing sections of the original ‘wall’.
It is one of the largest prehistoric barrows in Cornwall (with a diameter of approx 11.31 metres, 37 feet). There are also two ‘pits’ in the central mound, believed to be possible entrances to below."
