A Hearty Avast!

So Andrea wants "hat tip" to die. I tried using "link fodder" for a bit, but went back to "link via". But, from now on, I'm going to use "a hearty avast!", or perhaps "ARRR!"

What say you, me hearties?

hat tip really didn't bother me, although it was getting a bit hackneyed. I like to see some originality, especially if it somehow fits in with the overall theme of the blog. On yours, I suggest, cookie crumbs gathered from . . .. ;) If ya use, just pay me in some linky love I need some hits, seems Jay has tapped into my line someplace and is siphoning off all my visitors. ;)

I was thinking "this visit from the Green Fairy" :)

Jay's draining everyone it would seem!

*Evil Cackle*

I never liked "hat tip" myself, but it's better than nothing. I like Via... and use that especially for things like quiz posts. A lot of times I try to phrase it into the post, like "Ith points out that Andrea wants hat tipping to die. Is cow tipping still okay?" Or whatever, with the relevant links.

Jay, that's funny!

I use 'link via' or Ith 'points out', mostly because I have kind of a 'make your point', 'getting to the point' theme going onsite. Sometimes I say $Author of $sitename points out $link.

I have never ever said hat tip. Too trite. I have to agree with you.
